As a quad-dominant dancer, I couldn’t feel the glutes at the beginning of the training. But after some exploration with Frankie, I can feel them with squats and deadlift. I also feel the expansion of my body and awareness after the training on my upper body especially the bench press. I feel more in control of my body and have agency and competence over myself.
Frankie’s execution drive is admirable. They think of something, and they will do it, no hesitation. They are able to dream very big and far, because they know how to break those goals into small steps to progress bit by bit. Their practicality actually helped me unlocked a lot of skills I thought was impossible for me. Honestly Frankie also made me a better teacher by their attentiveness to details as a teacher and responsiveness as a student. Asking Frankie to exchange fitness and dance is the best decision I made in 2024.
Something that I really appreciated was Frankie’s careful eye when it comes to alignment and proper form. They were able to pick out small cues and describe them in ways that made sense for me to apply them in my workouts. We would review videos of my workouts together and they would describe little changes for me to implement, as well as demonstrating so that I could see and feel the differences. As I progressed and applied these cues, I was then able to take on higher weights and challenge myself because I was doing the exercises more effectively.
Training with Frankie has been such a game changer for me. I came in with one main goal: to be hot and buff and Frankie has been amazing at making that happen! My body and mobility are changing for the better in ways I didn’t even expect. I’ve always dealt with achy joints, since working with Frankie, so much of that pain has eased up. They really know how to push me while still listening to what my body needs, and every session feels like progress. If you’re looking for a trainer who’s supportive, knowledgeable, and will actually help you reach your goals, Frankie is it!
Frankie is a wonderful trainer. I’ve learned so much about proper form, and I can really feel myself getting stronger each week. They genuinely care about their clients—not just in the gym, but also when it comes to overall health and nutrition. Frankie takes the time to teach, support, and challenge you in the best ways. I've been training with Frankie for over a year and it's one of the best decisions I've made for myself and my health! Prior to training with Frankie, it was difficult to establish a consistent fitness and nutrition routine that I actually enjoyed. Frankie is so knowledgeable, detail oriented, creative, and empathetic, and it's evident in their work. They've taught me that fitness and wellness can be both sustainable and enjoyable, they have cultivated a fitness program that actually works with my habits and lifestyle.
I'm completing my final week of introductory training with Frankie and I am SOoOooOooOOO glad to have worked with them during this process. They are not only technical, but incredibly thoughtful and intentional with movement and have made me feel very comfortable in the gym with their expertise and guidance. I appreciate that they also check in with me after many of our sessions about the other elements of my overall health to support my weight training / fitness evolution. I have really enjoyed my fitness journey with my coach. The coach explained the connection and structure between exerting force and imagining the body in a clear and understandable way. This made me very interested and able to persevere. The coach also encouraged me to actively pay attention to my diet and daily life state.
